My 11 year old son plays basketball, and he likes to wear "high socks" so when he lands on the ground, he can slide, and not get floor burns. These worked great! And the color matched his uniform perfectly! We even gave a pair to a friend of his on the team, now the two of them are sporting a "new style" during games! We had to exchange the first pairs for a larger size, but once we got the "adult" size, they worked great!¤

By the end of the first day, there was a hole in one of the socks at my heal. By the end of the week both socks had quarter sized holes at the heels.
