1) Health and Beauty Health and Beauty OPI Soft Shades Nail Lacquer, Samoan Sand by OPI. The color I purchased (locally) is Sweet Heart, a pale natural pink.

I use sunless tanner lotion, and that can turn my nails slightly yellow. The Sweet Heart color is PERFECT for restoring my nails to a natural, non-yellow color! Being a natural color, it makes my fingers look longer and more slender, too.

The first coat goes on semi-sheer, and each additional coat makes the color more opaque. With the first coat, it appears to go on slightly streaky, but as it dries, the streaking is less noticeable. If I look hard, I can see it on a couple nails, but it isn´t enough to bother me as people aren´t going to notice it. It might bug you if you´re a hand model, where people are scrutinizing a close-up of your hands... otherwise, it´s not an issue, I think. :)

As is typical with OPI colors, I get great wear out of Sweet Heart. Remains chip-free for several days even though I´m banging my hands around all the time. Every couple days I´ll freshen it up by adding another layer of top coat or another layer of color.

(I think these reviews are lumped under all the OPI Soft Shades colors, so it´s rather difficult to tell what color someone´s talking about without naming the color in their review. Bummer.)¤

2) Health and Beauty Health and Beauty OPI Soft Shades Nail Lacquer, Samoan Sand by OPI. The photo is misleading... this color (Hawaiian Orchid) is not a solid opaque color but rather a slightly opalescent, translucent soft pink. It´s perfect for French/American manicures. Subtle and beautiful--highly recommended!

OPI polish is of course high-quality stuff... but you probably know that already.¤

3) Health and Beauty Health and Beauty OPI Soft Shades Nail Lacquer, Samoan Sand by OPI. Love this color. It´s not at ALL sparkly. Don´t know what that one girl was talking about. It´s sheer with a hint of irridecence. It´s great with one, two, even more coats and since it´s OPI last FOR-EV-ER! Even my boyfriend once said, "I like the color that you have on your toes there". I was shocked. I didn´t think guys actually paid attention to that kind of stuff. I guess it was a good enough color that it caught his eye. Trust me, great color, flattering on most people, worth the money 100%!¤

4) Health and Beauty Health and Beauty OPI Soft Shades Nail Lacquer, Samoan Sand by OPI. I would not describe this color as sparkly. It is iridescent. I use one coat and it gives a barely-there lavender-hued iridescence to my nails. I absolutely love this stuff.¤

5) Health and Beauty Health and Beauty OPI Soft Shades Nail Lacquer, Samoan Sand by OPI. i really like this nail polish- it´s really sparkly, but not in a tacky way; it reminds me of something a sophisticated princess might wear. And you know how some sparkly polish feels rough because the sparkles are too big? this is not like that; its smooth to the touch and i just love my nails in this. I have already gotten compliments on my nails from guys.
Its more of a silvery pink polish, and a bit sheer- you might want to wear a solid pink under it, tho i like it all by itself- very pretty.¤
